The Preparatory Commission of the General Chapter

The members of the Preparatory Commission the General Chapter 2013, Ben Wolbers (Neer), Desiderio Garcia Martinez (Arag) Simplisio Manyika (Hib-Zimb), Carl Markelz (PCM), Francisco de Sales Alencar (Pern) and Artemio Jusayan (Phil) met at the General Curia from the 21st to the 25th of May, 2012.

They chose Francis de Sales Alencar (Pern) as Chairman of the Commission and Desiderio Garcia Martinez (Arag) as Secretary. The Chapter will be held in Sassone (Rome) from the 2nd to the 21st of September 2013. The focus of its reflection will be: “A word of hope and of salvation” (Const. 24): living the charism and mission of Carmel today.
