Change in the date of the beatification of Venerable Angelo Paoli

The Secretary of State has informed us of the date of the upcoming beatification of Venerable Angelo Paoli (1642-1720). The ceremony will take place in Rome at the basilica of St. John Lateran on 25th April 2010 (rather than 18th April as was previously announced). Consultations had to take place with the various people involved in order that a new date and location could finally be established.

The Carmelite family is invited to participate in this joyous moment in which the holiness of life of another son in Carmel is recognized, one who loved God and the poor, whom he served with creativity and attentiveness.
